darwin2k.sourceforge.net -- Darwin2K is a free, open-source toolkit for robot simulation and automated design. It features numerous simulation capabilities and an
evolutionary algorithm capable of automatically synthesizing and optimizing robot designs to meet task-specific performance objectives.
vxl.sourceforge.net --VXL. (formerly named "TargetJr"): initiative for vision research, similar to Orocos in the sense that it is (nothing more than) a set of libraries.

sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/flowdesigner/index.php?title=Main_Page -- FlowDesigner (was previously named Overflow), C++ framework for graphical building of components. It has a robotics component, RobotFlow:
FlowDesigner is a free (GPL/LGPL) data flow oriented development environment. It can be used to build complex applications by combining small, reusable building blocks. In some ways, it is similar to both Simulink and LabView, but is hardly a clone of either. FlowDesigner features a RAD GUI with a visual debugger. Although FlowDesigner can be used as a rapid prototyping tool, it can still be used for building real-time applications such as audio effects processing. Since FlowDesigner is not really an interpreted language, it can be quite fast. It is written in C++ and features a plugin mechanism that allows plugins/toolboxes to be easiliy added. FlowDesigner currently includes the following toolboxes; Communication Toolbox, Signal processing, Audio processing (DSP), Vector quantization, Neural network, Fuzzy logic, Octave plug-in, Robotics, Real-time audio effect processing (pre-alpha), Linear algebra using LAPACK (pre-alpha), OpenCV, Microphone Array-Based Audition for Mobile Robots (ManyEars)
In the same set of projects, marie.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page -- Marie is the newest, working towards ACE + CORBA as platform. MARIE is a free software tool using a component-based approach to build robotics software systems by integrating previously-existing and new software components. MARIE's initiative is based on the following main requirements:
Reuse softwares, APIs, middlewares and frameworks frequently used in robotics (Player, CARMEN, RobotFlow, etc.)
Adopt a rapid-prototyping approach to build complete system
Allow distributed computing on heterogenous platforms
Allow concurrent use of different communication protocols, mechanisms and standards
Accelerate user-defined developments with well defined layers, interfaces, frameworks and plugins
Support multiple sets of concepts and abstractions

corba.org -- Corba is not a software implementation, but a specification. Several Open Source implementations exist; GNOME uses ORBit; another one (more
extended, but with larger memory requirements and slower execution) is TAO. See Douglas C. Schmidt --

Bayes links
openbayes.org -- Open Bayes for Python is a free and open source Bayesian Network library.
numpy.scipy.org -- NumPy is the fundamental package needed for scientific computing with Python. It contains among other things:
a powerful N-dimensional array object, sophisticated (broadcasting) functions, tools for integrating C/C++ and Fortran code, useful linear algebra, Fourier transform, and random number capabilities. Besides its obvious scientific uses, NumPy can also be used as an efficient multi-dimensional container of generic data. Arbitrary data-types can be defined. This allows NumPy to seamlessly and speedily integrate with a wide variety of databases.
spasm.sourceforge.net -- Software for Probabilistic Analysis, Storage, and Manipulation (SPASM) s a templatised C++ library for the storage and manipulation of a
variety of probabilistic representations. Represenationtations currently considered are: Gaussian, Gaussian Mixtures, Parzen density Estimates, Particles and
Discrete grids.
