The Hug_Monster; Multilingual Stories

The Hug_Monster_TM is going to be produced by us and it will tell stories in any of our standard 25 languages. A 25 position switch on the back of the head will allow a child to change the language being heard (same part of the same story). It will be voice responsive. Pushing the nose is on/off; turning it is the volume control.

The setup sequence for the Hug_Monster (activated with two pushes on the nose.) — "standard test" mode is always a little different; somewhat like waking up — awkward, sleepy speech (two voices; in the language currently selected) —-"batteries OK?, check…computer OK?, check…logic OK?, come on — logic OK??, check...vision OK? -- vision OK?? -- it's too early — what time is it? -- vision OK??? -- yes, yes, OK" — the last sequence with lots of eye motion -- rolling of eyes, cross eyed, one up one down, back and forth, lots of blinking.

The Hug_Monster will have a "prompt" or fall-asleep mode. The story telling pauses every few minutes and starts only if prompted by the child. If not prompted, it is assumed that the child is asleep and it shuts down.
